They were a controversial couple from the start; her being 16 years older than him. But, I always thought they just worked. They are both impossibly beautiful, and seemed like they had so much fun.
Both Ashton and Demi are very involved in social media, particularily Twitter (Demi's Twitter handle is @MrsKutcher, don't know what she's going to do about that...). Thursday evening Ashton Tweeted: 'I will forever cherish the time I spend with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK'.
I thought I would commemorate the marriage of my favourite fashion couple by putting together a collection of my favourite looks from Ashton and Demi.

Demi and Ashton showed up at Brazil Fashion Week's Colcci show in January 2011 looking beautiful. Demi looked great in a nude dress by the designer, and metallic heals. Notice the sheer long sleeves, thats my favourite part. Ashton kept things cool and casual in jeans and an undone button up. Two fun facts about the event: 1. Ashton and Demi showed up three hours late and were booed by the photographers! 2. Ashton modelled in the show!

The pair attended the red carpet for the Demi & Ashton Foundation and the Russian Assemblies Charity Gala at the Ritz-Carlton hotel October 30, 2010 in Moscow, Russia. They look amazing! Both wore designs by Ferragamo. Demi in a black column dress with asymmetrical shoulder detail. She paired the gown with Ferragamo high heel nude satin peep does. Ashton wore a Ferragamo black velvet tuxedo with two button jacket, paired with a white shirt, and black tie. Both look gorgeous!
These two will always be remembered as one of the greatest fashion powerhouse couples. At least we still have the Beckhams to look forward to!
I wonder what will happen to their non-profit DNA foundation now that they've split.
ReplyDeleteGood question.. It'll be interesting to see how they split everything up. I'm mostly looking forward to what Demi does about Twitter though.
