Chanel Fall Winter 2012 show

Chanel held its fall/winter 2012 women's ready-to-wear show in Paris today. Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld gave the show and the pieces a dark and edgy tone. Watch it below:

Check out those embellished eyebrows! So amazing. I also love the way Chanel puts a new modern twists on the classic suit.

My favourite pieces from the show, were those amazing sheer skirts. They are so delicate and pretty.

Overall I thought all the pieces were beautiful, and the show was great. If you remember the Chanel Spring/Summer 2012 runway show from a couple months ago, you'll notice the layout is almost identical from that one. But instead of an under-the-sea theme, it took on a mysterious tone, with black crystal accents.

Chanel Spring Summer 2012 Show

Last week Chanel held their Spring Summer 2012 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. Designer, Karl Lagerfeld came up with a magical under-the-sea theme that featured shells, corals, and sea creatures. There was no colour used for the runway. All white floor and decorations kept things clean and simple to allow all focus to be on the spectacular clothing.
Spring 2012's collection is beautiful. Of course, Lagerfeld kept many traditional Chanel styles (Like the classic Chanel suit), but added some new and modern twists to the items.
Other items in this years collection are structured dresses with flowing skirts, and gorgeous white swimsuits.
Models wore mostly flat silver booties, or flat sandals. All had slicked back hair and minimal makeup to allow for the pieces to be showcased.
